My Forever Valentine

On this special day
as we remember those we love,
I'd like to tell you about someone
who is as beautiful as a dove.
He came into this world
to witness and to teach.
About our Father who art in heaven,
truth and love is what He preached.
He came into this world
to comfort one and all.
To wipe away His children's tears,
no matter how big or small.
He came into this world
to heal the blind and lame.
Whatever your hurt or pain maybe,
just call out His sweet name.
He came into this world
a caring shepherd He'll always be.
A light is He to His flock,
as He guides us to victory!
He came into this world
as the pure and holy one.
Because He loved all people,
He new what must be done.
He came into this world
a sacrifice He would be.
He shed His blood for you and I,
on the cross at Calvary.
He came into this world
for He wanted to save the lost.
To give all believers everlasting life,
Jesus' life is what it cost!
I have a special Valentine
one that will last forever.
I asked Jesus into my heart
and now He'll leave me never!
He is alive and always with us,
blessing us with His mercy and grace.
He's our precious Saviour and our glorious redeemer,
I can't wait to thank the Lord face to face.
Jesus I'll always love you,
and I'll always look to thee.
King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
My Forever Valentine will Jesus always be!
