Gentle
Caress
written by Johanna
Greenlaw
Quiet finds me when
you do not.
Alone I see that
time is laughing.
It thinks it has
won, but we will reign
And the haughtiness
it possesses
Will never surface
again.
For I know that
there is
A far greater place
and home.
You and I, my love
will go
Sitting on the bank
of a dream
Our lives will
eternally flow.
You see, you are
meant for me.
Our souls complete
the other.
What is only mystery
to some
Has moved into our
lives truly
And shown us what we
must become.
There is a grace and
comfort found
Offered in the form
of love and peace.
Jesus had delivered
us with care
Into the arms of
each other
So in His wisdom, we
would find Him there.
When I think of you
I fill with hope.
You are me- you know
me.
Two people we are in
flesh,
But our souls meet
somewhere unseen
And are forever, in a gentle caress.
