Chapter 19

The final vial brought us to a tremendous earthquake and a violent hail storm, it was a time where islands and mountains disappear, we can see the earth is really going through some awful changes. What I believe is that we have is simply new Jerusalem arriving on the scene as we talked about earlier. In the previous two chapters we looked at mystery Babylon and there were several features there that God wanted us to look at and wanted us to understand. One God wants us to understand that even in the day that we live in there is a religious force out there that is helping world empires to gain control of the people and subject them. Empires are not always good for people especially the ones getting conquered and killed. A lot of people subject themselves to it and tolerate it because a religious force comes behind it and says it is the will of God for them to submit to this tyrant, this is all ok. 

We see Mystery Babylon in the form of a harlot or a prostitute with a golden cup in her hand sitting on the back of a seven headed beast, all that does is show you that one world government and one world religion are going to be working together against our welfare, against the will of almighty God, and against God himself. Right now all of the religions are joining together around the world. Understand that there is a lot of spiritual fornication and spiritual prostitution to accomplish it, because when get diverging groups like the Lutherans and the Catholics joining together as one, both of the groups will have to prostitute some of the values that their founders found as sacred. And whenever you have Buddhist, Hindus, and Catholics getting together to make one religion, all three groups will have to prostitute their value systems to be one. They may prostitute it this way, one may say "Oh, my wedding band makes you nervous, then I will take it off for you" you don't talk about your differences, you push them down and you hide them, so that nobody feels guilty or offends anybody. 

This is happening right now, and the moral God fearing Christian is getting stomped out and looked upon for his lack of political correctness. They are building a one world religion that will lead to the one world government, this efforts are going on right now. We see mystery Babylon and we understood her relationship to the ten kings, and Antichrist, we saw her totally destroyed in the middle of the tribulation period. Why was it important for us to know all of that. It was important to establish the Antichrist with the Roman religion. It is important for those of you that are in the Roman religion to hear in the previous chapter where God says "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities". So if you are inside of this thing, if you are inside the Roman religion, if you are in this amalgamating world church, there is a call from the Spirit to get out of that thing. I want to ask you another question, if you are not part of this group and God is calling them out of it, do you think that God wants you to join something that he is calling His people out of? If He is calling his people out, why are you wanting to unite with it, fellowship with it, or want to be a part of it? But the churches are doing it and a lot of them are charismatic, and the Roman Catholic church has embraced this charismatic movement because they feel  that this will give them the greatest chance that they have had towards total ecumenical unity, and that is because the movements before like Sardis and Philadelphia basically founded there beliefs on what they found in the Word of God. 

But the charismatic movements "unity factor" is whether or not you speak in tongues. People are imitating the Holy Ghost and speaking in "tongues", they  have never had the real thing. I had a man come into the church one time and tell me a story of how he was helping a woman to get the Holy Ghost. He told her just to wag your tongue and make baby babble and the Holy Ghost will just jump right in there. I said to him don't ever tell anyone that, they are just babbling like a baby, you can't get the baptism of the Holy Ghost that way, that is how he got it, it wasn't real. You have to pray through, you get right with God, you worship the Lord and ask him to give you the baptism, and you have to wait on Him until he baptizes you, when he does,  he comes inside, he does the talking. That is how it happens. If you are filling the Christian world with a bunch of baby babblers then you have a world full of very shallow, deceived people who have never tuned into the genuine Holy Spirit. If you are not tuned into the genuine Holy Spirit then any counterfeit can get your attention, it will start leading and guiding you. Demon spirits love to get inside of churches and operate, they like religion and church, they like the music too. We have seen the woman destroyed in an hour and she is all gone. 

1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 
3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. 
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. 
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. 
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. What do we have here it seems like the dialogue about Mystery Babylon is continuing a little bit more. Remember earlier we talked about some teachers say Chapter 17 is spiritual Babylon and Chapter 18 is the Commercially built Babylonian in Iraq, but it looks to me that from 17 through this point in 19 we are just looking at one Babylon, one harlot, one prostitute, one place. Chapter 17 and 18 tie right up with what happens in Chapter 2 of the book of Revelation when Jesus is talking to the Thyatira church where he reveals the fate of Jezebel. Re:2:22: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.Re:2:23: And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. We are now hearing that it happened and we are in heaven, we know that Mystery Babylon has been destroyed in the middle of the tribulation and what do we do when we hear this? We shout, we praise, we say glory to God the old harlot finally got what was coming to her. We are shouting and praising and glorifying God. 

7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 

Have you ever started out to do something wrong and you found all kind of stumbling blocks in the way and you just kept trying to do that thing? God was being merciful trying to keep you from hurting yourself. He was restraining you like you were toddler not knowing were you are going, He just pushed you here and there until you couldn't do that thing. Well, God pulls his hand back and he allows man to do what he wants but he limits their destruction. When we get to the second half, this is where God gets actively involved in it, this is where He is going to pour out his own judgments. 

He starts by having the angel of Chapter 10 proclaim "time shall be no more", in other words there is no longer a delay of His wrath. It is at this time that Michael the archangel is aloud to knock Satan out of the heavenlies, the Antichrist receives his deadly wound and resurrects. It is at that time the false prophet comes, at that time the mark of the beast is given out, at that time the two witnesses are slain and resurrected to heaven, at that time there is a great earthquake, at that time a tenth part of the city falls and 7,000 men in Israel die, and at that time the entire nation turns to Christ, receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It is at this time Joel 2:38 is fulfilled. If all that is happening here what we see is that God is ready to take the kingdom of God. He proclaims it His now, He releases Christ, He releases Michael, and everything falls into place. So that means that the believers that went on the Rapture and have been to the judgment seat of Christ has been promised their rewards, this is where they will get their rewards. 

That is why in Chapter 11 that you have this statement that it is now time to reward the saints and prophets, because in the middle of Chapter 11 is the beginning of the last half of the tribulation. Now it is time to reward them. This is where we go the marriage supper of the Lamb, Christ sits down at the head of the table. My biggest problem is that I was not raised in a very refined home and I never learned what to do with three forks, around my house you used the one that you had until it wore out. So if you look at this picture and this is how the table is set, we are going to do some powerful eating up there. I am sure that some of you know proper usage for those different spoons and forks, you can teach me and we will be alright. What we essentially have here is the wedding supper for the Bride of Christ. Christ's bride has finally come, we are going to the marriage supper. This little painting is kind of nice, see what makes up the wedding gown, all these little individual people dressed in fine linen. This represents the holiness and righteousness that is required to be a part of the bride of Christ. 

That is why Jesus told Laodicea that you better get some white garments lest you walk naked and they see your shame. Do you think Jesus is going to have a naked bride come down and sit at His table? I don't think so, every one that enters must be covered in the blood of Christ, and then they must keep their garments. It is one thing to dress a child, and have them take their clothes off. Did you ever a situation where you had clothed your child and then visitors came over the next thing you know the child is embarrassing you to death by streaking through the house? Well the Lord isn't going to have that kind of thing up there, he is going to have a bride clothed in righteousness. Now Jesus is sitting at the head of the table, what is the purpose of all of this? Christ is the governor, and the church is the government. When the governor takes the oath of office, power is officially transferred to him, then his government becomes official and he is joined to it. All of his cabinet takes is sworn in and becomes official as well. Then there is usually a celebration called the inaugural, and the inaugural is where we celebrate, new government in town, a new day for us. This is also a groom and a bride and they are going to joined as one now. This is also a head being joined to a body. Now we all sit down at our special place, and Jesus when on earth he promised his disciples that  he wouldn't eat the Passover with them again until they were in the Kingdom. 

He promised the church in Pergamos that if you overcome I will give you to eat of the hidden manna, in the Greek Orthodox tradition as we learned they hid bread from view. Jesus told that church to overcome that and He would give them the real Lord's supper in heaven. Can you imagine what it is going to be like to have Jesus hand out the bread in heaven. Can you imagine taking that cup from Christ Himself, this is the moment where we become officially and legally one with Christ, the governor and government is joined. There will be a little time to fellowship and enjoy each other before the battle lines are drawn and we must follow Christ back to earth to fight. How long do we have, well I have read that when a Jewish boy gets married that he has a whole year to romance his wife, he doesn't have to go to work, he doesn't have to go to war. Wow it is a good thing that rule doesn't apply to Americans, because many would be getting married, just to be taking a year off, then getting a divorce and marrying another so that they never have to work. These man were marrying for life, all they did was love each other, take care of each other. hen the year was over the wife would say, could you join the army and go to war or something, just get out of the house, Please! 

So maybe we will have a whole year enjoying each others fellowship, while the angels are out proclaiming the gospel, and that Mystery Babylon has fallen, and proclaiming "if you take the the Mark of the Beast you are in a heap of a lot of trouble". I think that will take about a year to do all of that, who knows just how long? You are blessed if you make it to this supper, and anybody that God has called to be saved belongs at that supper. 

Lets look at verse 10 for a moment "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy". Here John wants to fall down at the feet of the angel that is showing him this and worship him. The angel says don't you do that, here is how you tell a real angel from a demon angel. Any angel or any person that will allow you to proclaim, how holy they are, how righteous they are, how powerful they are, consistently allow you to heap that kind of praise on them, bow down and kiss there ring and worship at their feet, do anything like that, that creature man or angel is of the devil. This angel that shows John these things is an angel of God, because the first thing he says when John tries to worship him is say stop, do not do that, Don't worship me I am a fellow brethren, worship God. It turns out it wasn't an angel, a created creature, talking to him at all but another fellowservant, but John mistook him for an angel, this might give you some kind of idea what kind of creatures that we will be once we are glorified. John is looking at a man and thinks he is an angel, because of that body that we have been given, and the righteousness, and holiness that emits from him and that will be our status. It seems that we have something to look forward to. 

I will take a guess at who this man is. My guess is that it is Daniel, and the reason that I believe it is him is that because the book of Daniel and Revelation are such complementary books, and Daniel would be a good one to show John around because they were both used to bring the same message. And so he says don't you worship me. And for those of you that worship saints and Mary, if you could see them face to face, they would be very disturbed and upset that you committed an act of spiritual fornication and used them as the excuse for it. because anybody that you pray to, you are offering them worship, Mary, Peter, James, or John would be mortified if you did such a thing. They would be the first to tell you not to have any graven image of them in your presence and you are not to bow down before it. You are not to make an image of anything in heaven, in the earth, or under the earth and put it in your place of worship and bow down before it, they would be the first to tell you that you are not to do that. I will tell you that demons will hang around and answer your prayers while you are praying to those statues.

If you listen to the "prosperity preacher" on the TV and I suggest that you don't, but if you do the impression is given, even taught outright that what is really going to happen is if you give your money to that TV ministry that a sudden wave of prosperity and power is going to sweep the entire earth. The Christians will be so wealthy that the people are all going to rush to the church and all get saved so that they can be part of the movement. There will be a great revival all over the entire world, and then Christ will come. And when Christ comes, He will come to a world in revival, a world happy to see him. That is what is taught, and they say that the two hindrances that are preventing this is that the churches need to come together as one and the finances that we need to give. If we give our finances then we will break the curse off the earth.

I used to stop myself from saying their names, but they say it so often now there is no need to prevent myself anymore. Benny Hinn said not long ago to the congregation during a telethon to Paul Crouch and the audience. He said people, Peace is breaking out in Israel, they have peace with the Jordanians, peace with the Egyptians, and they are just about to make peace with the Palestinians and the Syrians are going to come in after that. When that happens billions of dollars are going to flow into Israel and it is time for the prophecy to be fulfilled that says, "the wealth of the wicked are laid of for the righteous", and the money will flow in and will cause a great disturbance in the spirit world. He said when that disturbance takes place there will be a wave of prosperity that will sweep through the church, and only the sowers are going to reap from this wave of prosperity, and I don't want to see you miss this  great harvest. 

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. I want to tell you something, this is not symbolic. It is literal and this really happens. The reason a lot of false doctrine goes on is that many of these teachers come from the Sardis age theology. They didn't believe in the Rapture. St. Augustine was one of the primary contributors to turning peoples hearts into believing that the Book of Revelation is just an allegorical book. He taught that since Jesus had not returned in 300 years, surely Bible Prophecy could not be taken literally, it must be taken allegorically. The meaning is, the things revealed here do not happen but only symbolize the church winning over the world. The people that learned this teaching believe that the church is going to eventually triumph and bring the kingdom of God. None of this literally happens it is just a veiled drama to give you the point. That is not true, in the first verse of the first chapter of the Book of Revelation we are told that this is the Word of God. We are told that this book is going to show us things that must come to pass. A day will happen when the heavens will open and Jesus Christ will come and his foot will touch the Mount of Olives, and when it does that Mount of Olives is going to split in half. That is not a man jumping on a hill barefooted, it is Jesus returning on His white horse, and I don't know what causes the Mount to split, but the scriptures says it is split in half, I would imagine it is just the power of His awesome returning. That is literally going to happen, Jesus will come with His army and the Antichrist will meet Jesus with his army, and it is time to have a battle. And there stands Jesus with His vesture dipped in blood, King of Kings and Lord of Lords written on His thigh. It is the battle of Armageddon, and the world thinks that they have Jesus outnumbered but they are wrong, Jesus is a bigger army all by himself, all He has to do is speak. 

Do you know how Jesus can slay them with they sword of His mouth? Do you know you are made up of basically nothing, there isn't anything to you, you are just made of atoms. And if you have ever seen an atom, it is just this little thing that has a proton and a neutron and an electron it is filled with air, it is practically nothing, and you bind these little nothings together kind of like legos and it forms a body and God puts a soul inside that thing. If you split one of those atoms it makes a big bang, and those men like Einstein and Openhiemer  can figure out how to split an atom, who do you think sticks them together. If you look at any object it is made up of the same material as you, something holds it together, who do you think did that? We are told the world was framed by the Word of God, He just said atom stand there. Well all Jesus has to do is say atom, I am tired of you number one atom go boom. Everybody standing against God would explode, that is a good way to kill them, don't you think. Another way Jesus could do it would be to say I want my breath back, after all he supplies our breath doesn't he, it would kill every one of them. 

  Miracles, you say Pastor, "that man just has to be of God didn't see all of the miracles that he can do"? Well if that is the test for the prophet of God then this false prophet must be a prophet of God. No, he is not of God, he used miracle to deceive people, and in the deception he caused them to take the mark of the beast. now I am telling you that the false prophet and the Antichrist comes riding into power on a wave of lying signs and miracles, isn't that what the Bible says? Be careful whenever the emphasis is more on the show then the written word, and be careful whenever you are in a group of people, where the Pastor, preacher, prophet, or whatever you want to call him tells you that you are going to be cursed and die if you disagree with him. That is a mark of a false prophet, a true prophet doesn't worry if you agree with him or not, it doesn't matter if he gets killed or not, and he knows if it is God's work, then He will take care of it. If you are a con man with a con scheme, you want to quite people down that are trying to find the answers in the Bible, then you just threaten them and tell them they will die. 

I heard a Benny Hinn say to Paul Crouch not long back, "We are getting ready to have a move of God soon that if any man criticizes it, God will kill that man instantly. He said that on cable TV, and who knows who heard it, but there are people stupid enough to believe that. If they feel, or see, hear something that their discernment and knowledge of the word of God tells them that something is wrong, they will start doubting those feelings and say to themselves well I must be wrong, because that man is a great man of God, he wouldn't say it if it wasn't right, he does miracles. If you begin to precondition people to think in those kind of terms, all you are doing is setting them up for the genuine false prophet to sweep them right into the presence of the Antichrist, right into the mark of the beast. That is how the false prophet will do it, and you are witnessing today with your own eyes, deception so subtle and terrible. You sit there and listen to them, saying, these men are so good at this I almost believed them. Old time preachers preached the Word of God. Do you know why? It is because when they were young, they learned in Sunday School  memory verses and they had their mind filled with the Word of God. We had one Bible in our churches and was the King James Bible, we remembered it and memorized it and when they got up to preach it flowed out of their mouths, they had filled their minds with the Word of God. Jesus said that the Holy Ghost will guide you by bringing to mind whatsoever I have taught you.
