Chapter 14

Re 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Now we see Jesus Christ. The reason we see Him at this time is because it is time for Him to reclaim the earth which is rightfully His. Israel has been totally converted to Christ, so there is no longer a need for the 144,000 witnesses. They are literally Raptured up. Now we are about to see the absolute wrath of God poured out upon the earth. There are some people that will want to say that God isn't fair, no one can live for God under those conditions. These men's presence in Heaven is proof that you can live for God under the worst conditions ever and not have sin in your life. All 144,000 live a virtuous life in a time of absolute fornication, immorality, and they are just as human as anybody. They make a logical choice, and that is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. They never back down on their commitment. So you can live right, and God is fair in judging the world.

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

We have three angels that are preaching messages. The first one is going to preach the Everlasting Gospel. Have you ever heard it said that this gospel must be preached throughout all the nations and the end shall come? If you listened to that false TV prophets, they would tell you that this gospel must be preached in all the world. How do think we are going to do that, we need a lot of money and that is why God is going to send us all this prosperity, so that we can carry this gospel to the end of the earth. That is not the way it gets done, you can give them your money but they are not taking it to the end of the world, they are taking it to the bank. When you come to this place in the tribulation, things are so hostile that human ministries are not going to be able to function. Except for ministers like Pat Robertson who intends to see that tribulation period to the end, and follow the whole story with his cameras. I am telling you human organizations are not going to function anymore. All human assets will belong to the Antichrist. If he is going to destroy the old Roman Catholic Church and take everything that she has, what do you think he will do to the 700 Club? He will change it to the 666 Club. It will take this angel to take the gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people on this earth. All will be exposed to the gospel, so that no one can say "I never heard, I didn't know." There will be a lot of people that will respond to this angel’s message and turn to God. That is why there are so many people getting their heads cut off.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Who is Babylon? Babylon here is Rome, the Roman Catholic worship system that now dominates world religion. You see there are a lot of good people that love God and are trying to do what they feel is right. There are also a lot of people in that Hindu faith that are trying to do what they have been told is right, most are good people. That doesn't mean that they have peace with God. Peace only comes through Jesus Christ. These people will have successfully led a stray, so that they are away from Christ. Now that Babylon has fallen, because she has absorbed all religions, all religions are gone with her and there is now only one of two choices. They are Satan and the Antichrist, or Jesus and God, it is black and white, pure and simple. This angel is saying, "If you are standing in line for the mark of the beast because religion said to, know that Rome toe controller of religion has been punished for her lies."

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Now we have the second message, and it simply says that if you take the Mark of the Beast you will be damned to hell forever, and there is no mercy or hope for you whatsoever! Do you get the picture, it is the middle of the Tribulation period, Satan has been cast down to earth, he is in his little shell pretending to be an image of the Antichrist? The Antichrist is being worshiped as god who rose from the dead, a counterfeit of Christ. The two witnesses have been killed and have ascended to heaven. All of Israel has turned to Christ. The false prophet has popped up and said that every man must take the mark, the ten kings have destroyed Mystery Babylon, so that she won't compete with the one world government. The one world religion is now controlled by the Antichrist. The gospel is declared to every man. He must now make up his mind, Satan or God. Those that are lined up to take the mark are about to be damned forever. Some choose to die because they know that Satan's reign will only be lasting another three and a half years. If you know the book of Revelation, you will understand his mark system doesn't work for the whole three and half years. As soon as the vials start being poured out, the Mark of the Beast will not work anymore. There is total chaos in the world. There are those who resist the Antichrist. The reason that they have the faith and patience to do this is because they know there is eternal life on the other side. It is like First Century Christianity now to be saved is often to die. They are going to die by scores and scores.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Here is a blessing. That any that die henceforth in the Lord are blessed. Blessed is he that dies, and the fact that you died at that time means that there is a reward that follows you to heaven. You are blessed.

There are a few things that are taught that just aren't true, some say that you can't get saved during the Tribulation. Obviously that is not true because here is a whole group of people that have the faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You can get saved during the Tribulation period, but you just can't go on the Rapture. You ask how do you get saved during the Tribulation period? The same way that you do now, repent of your sins, accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, and you become born again. Some will say that the Holy Ghost has been taken out of the world, he is no longer here, how can that be? One, he is omnipresent, he can't go anywhere because he has to be everywhere. David said "if I made my bed in hell you would be there." That is his nature. Look how active the Holy Ghost is. Whom do you think it is that seals the 144,000, anoints them and keeps them? When the whole nation of Israel gets saved, who baptizes them in the Holy Ghost and causes them to prophesy? When these people are laying their heads on chopping blocks and professing Christ, do you think they are left all by themselves? No, the Spirit of God comes inside of them, renews them, quickens them, and they are born again. They step into heaven having the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

This is Christ getting ready to take total authority over the earth. This is where the seven vials are going to be poured out, we are going to see the vials in chapter 15 and 16, but what we see is the culmination or at the end of it. Christ has returned to the Mount of Olives and the battle of Armageddon is on. The battle of Armageddon has such a slaughter that the scripture says there will be a river of blood 200 miles long, 6 feet deep. 200 miles is the complete length of Israel and reaching up to the horse’s bridle would be about six feet deep. That is how much blood will be shed. During the battle the Antichrist and False Prophet will be taken alive, cast into the bottomless pit. Satan will be captured, and a seal put upon him. The Sword of Christ's mouth, will kill every one of those in the armies of the world. Those that have come to war against Israel and Jesus himself will simply be destroyed. The birds will come and pick their bones. That is a real war, which is really going to happen.

That makes Jesus look a lot different from what many people and churches believe. They say our God is a God of tolerance. He just tolerates any old dumb foolishness. If you believe that you just have missed the message. No! He is not a God of tolerance, the Bible is not about tolerance, it is about intolerance. God cannot tolerate sin, and if you want to be in His presence then you have to repent of sin. Christ's blood will cover your sins and cause you to be a sanctified vessel in his sight, you can now enter into heaven. He loves you, but hates sin and you must get rid of it now. He is coming to reclaim the world, and to save Israel. He will judge this world for their rebellion, their sin, and their anarchy. The world has some very terrible things heading their way, but they have asked for it, they forced it. God has given them every kind of way to make peace with him, law, conscience, grace, they didn't want to have anything to do with any of it. So here comes God's wrath poured out without mixture.
