Chapter 13

I never look at this picture (above) without thinking of this night that I was in Virginia, and this was the first slide for the next night and I had it up just before altar call. I saw this young man headed out the back door and he looked very disturbed. So I went out and found him laying over a water fountain sobbing his heart out, and I said "Son, what is the matter?" He said "My God, brother Shockley if those things are loose during the Tribulation period, I don't stand a chance, and I need to get saved." This animal that we are going to read about, you won't see running around, it is symbolic of a condition known as the world gentile powers.

Re 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

John sees this beast, this is not a new beast to us, we are just seeing it from a different perspective. It has some of the same elements that we have seen before, it has seven heads, it has ten horns, seven crowns, we have seen the animals that are composite parts of this one. We have seen the Bear before, we have seen the leopard with four heads, we have seen the Lion, and we have seen that terrible iron beast, and what they represent is the world gentile power. The age of gentiles began a long time ago, but it is about to end. You have seven heads here, they are as follows, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome and a final Roman Empire made up of ten kings, which the ten horns represent. The ten kings will rise up and join their power together, and give their support to a man. That man will be the Antichrist. The Antichrist will be the head of the final Roman Empire.

 

So this is what the feet and head represent, Persia, and the four leopard heads and body represents, Greece, the lion represented Babylon, the horns represent the new Roman Empire. We are told that one of these heads is wounded to death. We are also told that these heads have the names of blasphemy on them. There are a number of ways that you can blaspheme, but this particular reference is talking about taking something that belongs to God, and attributing it to another person, or an institution. These names of blasphemy have to do with Mystery Babylon who has been riding the Beast that we will see in Chapter 17 and 18.

 

Mystery Babylon rides on the back of the beast. She is the harlot religion that is headquartered in Rome. She has made every one of the heads into a god. It is the priests of the Mystery religion that make Pharaoh a god. Pharaoh likes being a god because when you are divine it is easier to rule over people and have your own way.

 

 

 

Pharaoh of Egypt is God, and the Assyrian ruler is a god, the Babylonian ruler comes along, he is a god, the Persian ruler is a god, the Greek ruler Alexander the Great is a god. They were not really gods, but they took the title unto themselves. Then with the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar wanted to be a god. This Final leader, the Antichrist is going to claim to be a god.

This picture shows you that, many people have tried to revive the Roman Empire. Before it fell it was divided into Western and Eastern. The Eastern part of the Roman Empire lasted considerably longer then the Western. The area where the City of Rome was, 500 A.D. began to decay and fall apart until the empire fell a part becoming separate nation states. Some of the nations born out of the fall were Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and England. Many kings have tried to conquer those nations, forcing them together thus recreating the Roman Empire.

 

One of them was King Charlemagne. He tried to reestablish the Holy Roman Empire, but never full reached that zenith, Philip of France tried it, Napoleon tried it. It looked like Napoleon was about to get it done, but he never made it, Kaiser Wilhelm tried it. Our latest attempt was Adolph Hitler, he wanted to bring the Third Reich, that would last a thousand years, and it looked like he was about to get it done, but fell short, it wasn't time yet. Nobody is going to get this Empire revived until the Antichrist comes, he will put it back together, and it will be a tragedy for everyone. There are people trying to organize this empire today, with armies, countries, and money, they are all embroiled in merging together. A new world order is just simply the New Roman Empire. They want to make the Mediterranean their own private lake. This is just the beginning. It is the whole world they want to rule.

Their desire is to rule every economy, every nation, right now they are trying to educate people out of the idea of having a sovereign nation. Every time you hear our leaders talk of sending troops to a rogue nation, you have to ask what is a rogue nation? It is a nation doing things they want to do it instead of the way the United Nations wants it done. NATO or UN goes in and enforces the World Government's will on another nation. Sometimes there has been a situation where someone needed to go in and do something about a real tragedy. Now the Antichrist, this horn who is heading this final Roman Empire is going to make a seven-year treaty with Israel. The first half of the Tribulation is going to be a lot of war, blood, death. The Antichrist appears to be winning all the time, conquering all of the time. Then in the middle of the Tribulation, the Antichrist is going to receive a deadly wound to the head and it will kill him.

 

When he gets this deadly wound, he is going to lie in state and everyone is going to look around, and say "Oh what a terrible thing" it will be like they did when Kennedy was shot. They will say he was struck down in his prime. He had his whole life yet to live. What a tragedy, just imagine what kind of world peace we would have had if this man had just not gotten killed. The whole world will wonder, what are we going to do now?

Remember from the previous text when Satan is cast down from the heavens, this is the same time when the false prophet comes on the scene, whom we will talk about soon. A lot of things happen right in the middle of the Tribulation period and they are all pivotal points that change the whole nature of the Antichrist, the nature of the world, the whole nature of the battle, it is going to all change right now. So when the Antichrist receives this wound, he will be raised back to life. When he does, the whole world will wonder after him and worship him. Do you know when Adolph Hitler rose to power there were Christians that thought he was the greatest thing that ever walked on this earth? Some of the Lutheran Pastors thought he was great, but in reality he was a demon. This Antichrist is wounded to death, he is healed, is raised back to life. In verse three it says the world wondered after the beast and worshiped the dragon. Who is the dragon? It is Satan, and he gives power to the beast. They worship the beast and say, who is like unto the beast? Who can make war with him?

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Something turns the whole world from worshiping the God of heaven, to worshiping Satan himself. The Antichrist has a great big mouth. Adolph Hitler can remind us of what a man can do with a great big mouth. That guy inflamed that entire German nation and plunged the entire world into war. There were people that felt a power and a spirit. They were mesmerized when Hitler spoke. I think that you need to understand that God is not the only one that can give a man the anointing, Satan can anoint them and give them their words. The bible says 1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; In other words, they are anointed by Satan to preach doctrines that are so cunningly crafted that they almost sound like they might be Christian. They have the ability to lead you away from the center of the road bit by bit until they have apostatized the entire Christian church in the process. That process is going on right now!

You might look at a preacher and say "well he says some good things" but a real man of God says nothing but good things. There used to be a time where you didn't eat a piece of bread if it had a little mold on it, now you'll eat it if there is just a little bread under the mold, times have changed. The Antichrist could be a character like you see here, rising up great power, great authority, shifts the world to worshiping Satan. You wonder what he might say with his blasphemy. He is going to probably say that Jesus Christ wasn't real, but I am, you have heard the lies about him raising from the dead, but did you see him do it? I am alive, you saw me raise, I will tell you who gave me my power. You have been lied to all along, what has this Christian God ever done for any of you? He has caused war, bloodshed, death, and hate crimes all over the world, some of you have been discriminated against because of his laws, and he cannot bring you a government of peace and humanity. People are already being educated to that philosophy. When they hear the beast speak they are going to say, "I have heard that before and it sounds like the truth," they will believe it. This Antichrist is given only forty-two more months to reign, the last three and half years of the Tribulation is all he has left. The whole world is going to follow after him worshiping. If you feel alone today trying to serve God, just miss the rapture and see how you feel trying to worship God when the world openly embraces Satan.

You know how your workplace pressures you to wear a Halloween costume, or go to that drunken Christmas party. Immorality has become a feature of this generation and they expect you to just go along with anything that they want. They think that you are a really strange person if you have a standard or values. A personal choice that conflicts with what they want. I can use myself as an example. I have never had a drink of alcohol in my life, and my father worked for a beer distributor, owned a bar, I made a choice as an eight-year-old boy after seeing what the alcohol was doing to people that I knew I was afraid of it and I didn't want anything to do with it. My choice didn't have anything to do with being a Christian, but it was just a personal choice. When I got saved, I came to believe that God led me in that personal choice, I didn't lose anything by not drinking, I gained by never being a part of that. I watched my uncles and what it did to them. I knew I had the same blood in me and if that did that to them it could do the same thing to me. I didn't want any part of it. I decided not to drink because I thought that I would not be able to control that monster, and the Bible says Pr 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. I saw the danger and hid from it. There have been times before I entered the ministry when someone felt uncomfortable with my personal choice. They would try to force me to do what they were doing so they didn’t feel so bad about what they were doing. Well, just imagine the pressure you will feel when everyone is worshiping Satan but you! Refusal to worship will be punishable by death.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

"In his blasphemy," do you see whom he is blaspheming? Satan is going to tell people that God isn't who they thought he was. He may turn God into Satan in the people’s eyes, and this is deception. He may say that God is really Satan. Satan is going to lie, probably the nicest lie you could tell people would be that there is no God. We are all aliens, and I am the alien that kept you alive, and that it is an evil alien. I am the only one that can stand up for you. The movies and TV shows are being themed to project this. Notice who else he blasphemes. It is not just God, but his tabernacle and those that dwell in heaven. The tabernacle is New Jerusalem coming out of heaven. He is going to say that the thing coming in space is evil. He will make it sound like it is like the fictional Borg in the Star Trek series. The Borg are a human species that have been rendered inhuman through being crossed with computers. They are assimilating all other species into one. Their space ship is a cubicle spaceship. The Star Trek movie series leads us to believe that the cubical space ship coming in space is evil. New Jerusalem is coming out of heaven, it is a cubical ship, there is an army on board and Jesus Christ is the captain, the King, the Lord of Hosts. He is bringing the army. If they had a megaphone system set up, just as Christ is returning, they would be announcing that you will assimilate into the kingdom of God and the rule Jesus Christ.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Satan is given power to the Antichrist to war against the saints and to overcome them. Power is given him over the rest of the kindreds, tongues, and nations, with the exception of the people that are written in the Lamb's book of life. When you are born again and saved, you get written in that Book of Life. Now that you have been exposed to the Gospel you will never be the same again. Once these people have their name written there, and they have been born again, they see, they know. Could you ever possibly imagine yourself following the Antichrist when he reveals what he really is? No, you wouldn't. But you might see yourself going along because you are afraid of the persecution?

 

You might get into the crowd and follow the flow but you can't see yourself believing the devil is anything but what he is. The word of God has already taught you who he is. Hopefully you won't get into that situation. Now we are told he has the power to make war against the saints. These saints are not the church. He does not want a war against us, because we are in our glorified bodies, and in Heaven. The Bible informs us as to what we will be like - 1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We get a body like Jesus, and that body can travel at the speed of thought from earth to glory. The speed of thought is still a long trip for some people. Satan doesn't want to fight the glorified church. There are some confused people, and here is where the confusion comes in, it comes from a false teaching that is called "Israel replacement theology." The idea is that God is done with Israel, they were his chosen people but they reject Christ, so God rejects them and replaced them with the church, now the church is said to be the new Israel. The doctrine teaches that every promise in the Old Testament now belongs to the church, because it took Israel's place. So if God says he is going to prosper Jerusalem then that would mean he is going to prosper the Christian church, everything now gets spiritualized in favor of the church. If you believe that you are going to be a very confused Christian. God set Israel aside, He had made a covenant with them and a promise to them, and He is not finished with them. There is the "Seventieth Week" of prophecy that they still must face, and His promises were contingent on what he knew about the future. There are promises that belong to Israel and those that do not belong to the Christian church in any way shape or form.

If you are reading a promise or prophecy in the Old Testament, you need to read it really rightly dividing the Word of God. See who the promise is for. Just because God gave Abraham a specific promise such as, you are going to have a child, when you are an old man. I don't read that and say, well I'm almost ninety-nine, now it is time for another kid. Do you ladies read the promise to Sarah, and say, I wonder what God is trying to say to me here? No you know that the promise was made directly to Sarah and you thank God for that. There are promises that are for the church and they are not for Israel and you have to know the differences. Jews and Christians in the Bible can be referred to as Saints, set apart ones, or sanctified ones. The people that the Antichrist is given to overcome and to fight against are not the church, but the nation of Israel, the Jewish people. The Antichrist after receiving a deadly wound rises from the pit of hell, and invades Jerusalem. He kills the two witnesses. Satan is also in Jerusalem. It is possible that the living image that we will see next is possessed by Satan himself. The Antichrist enters the temple and stops the worship. At that very moment the people of Israel are becoming the saints that he overcomes.

9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Have you ever seen a phrase like this before in the Book of Revelation? We have seen it seven times before, except something is missing from the statement this time. What is missing? "What the Spirit sayeth unto the churches." Now at this particular junction this is not what the Spirit is saying to the church, it is something that God is saying by his word to any man alive on the earth at that time. The reason the church is missing here is because it is missing from the earth. It has been Raptured.

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

So if you miss the Rapture, you are still alive at this time, you will see the Antichrist being set up as God. You are going to see some very stringent things happen, the penalty of death will be enforced on those who do not worship the Man of Sin. God says this man that is putting men in captivity is going to be bound in captivity, this man that is killing others will die by the sword, he isn't going to be around very long.

"Here is the patience and faith of the saints," It is going to look like an overwhelming power, there is no way that they can win against this thing, they are going to be killed and slaughtered. It will be much like when Adolph Hitler was killing the Jews. You wonder why they fight, resist and don't give into the Antichrist? It is because they know the Word of God, they know the Antichrist has only a short while left. He is going to be totally defeated. That is why they are willing to die if necessary. They will not give in, they know they will have a "Better Resurrection" waiting. They know that Christ is coming back to earth. Their knowledge of this makes them resist the mark of the beast, fight, and give their heads, do whatever they have to. They do not give up because they know what the Word of God says.

Now we are going to meet another character. We have been talking about his arrival.

 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 

 

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

 

We have another beast. This beast has some things in common with the first beast. John says I saw another beast coming out of the earth. Notice the first beast came out of the sea. One comes out of the earth and one comes out of the sea. This tells us that they come from different elements of life. The first comes out of the political and economic arena of life, and the second comes from the area of religion, the arena of the soul and spirit. Together they control every facet of humanity, together they will control what you think, what you worship, what you eat, what you feel, and what you swear allegiance too. They will control how you can own property, and they will literally own your body, mind, and soul. We are told that the second beast exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes all the world to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed. The second beast has the same power as an international ruler with global power. These two are in a tandem with each other, each one wants what the other wants, it is as if they are one.

Who is this man? First he has the horns of a lamb. Let us do a word association game, I say Lamb and what do you say? Jesus! He looks as though he has the authority and power of Jesus. Now if you were not born again and I asked you today who has the power and authority of Jesus on this earth, who would you say this is? The world would say the Pope of Rome. The Pope of Rome actually says he is the "Vicar of Christ," and when he speaks Ex Cathedra he speaks infallibly as the voice of God. He claims to be the rightful ruler on this earth. So according to Catholic doctrine the Pope is the infallible power and authority of Christ on this earth. But our text says this lamb speaks as a Dragon, word association again. If you are thinking spiritually, who do you say? Satan, the Dragon, the Serpent, the Devil, Lucifer, he is all the same person. He is the same man with a lot of titles or aliases. What we are saying here is the representative of Christ here on earth is preaching Satan's message. Does that make sense? It makes logical and reasonable sense that is the problem with the Bible. It is too logical and reasonable. He will cause the whole world to worship the Antichrist as if he were God.

Now there is an interesting development that is going to take place while this worship is going on. When the Antichrist is named God by the world, and when he becomes the religion of the world, it is when the ten kings decide to destroy Rome. You might say that I thought these kings were for the false prophet? If you know anything about the politics of Rome, the Pope is not the only power there. There is a Bureaucracy within the Vatican, and the current Pope has struggled with them. The Jesuits and Dominicans have a mind of there own, the Franciscans have a mind of there own and they all clash.

This Bureaucracy goes back a long time and it has always want to rule the world. This is what a lot of European wars were about in the 1500's, 1600's and 1700's. They were over the Roman Catholic church having total dominance. The ten kings do not want any interference from Rome so they destroy her in a single day, and nationalize all of her assets. They are given to worshiping the Antichrist. They are also given to building the new Satanic world government. This false prophet causes the world to worship the Antichrist as God. He then makes an image of him and demands that everybody receives a mark. I believe that we are not very far from the rise of the false prophet maneuvering into power.

Back in the turn of the last millennial, there was some millennial madness going on, which happens every time there is a millennial period passing. I found this little article in the newspaper and found it interesting, keep in mind this was just before John Paul was to be pronounced as Pope. The clip said, "next pope among the last, Vatican City united Press International said, if the predictions of an eleventh century Irish Saint are to be believed, only three Popes remain to be elected before the end of the world. The prophecies of the Irish Archbishop Malachy of Armagh, Ireland were written before his death in 1148. He predicted that 112 Popes would rule over the Roman Catholic Church after Pope Clandestine who reigned in 1143 to 1144. The next Pope will be number 110 on the list. Malachy lived in the time of Religious fear when believers thought the end of the world was near, his prophecies predicted the end of the world would arrive with the second coming of Christ around the year 2000. He also said the last four pontiffs would be anti-popes that would seek to destroy religion rather than to preserve it. According to Malachy the last pontiff will rule during a time of persecution, great Tribulation, followed by the destruction of Rome and the last judgment.

 

We are passed the year 2000 right now and only two Popes remain to meet the number of 112. I understand that in the Sistine Chapel they have been painting Popes faces in these little ovals on the wall and they only have two more circles left. This is kind of the way I see it, this Pope we have right now is very feeble, and he could be gone very soon. I think the next Pope will be an African Cardinal, and the reason I think that the present Pope has made these statements. As he said to the "Smorgasbord Catholics" of America, America is not where we are looking for our strength, we are looking toward Africa. American Catholics are more like Protestants, they take what they want, but a Catholic in Africa will take what he is given, it is a different attitude and they need Africa if they want the Roman Empire revived. Just think the Catholic Church picked the pink Pope, which is what they called him, because he came from a communist country. He more than any other individual collapsed the communist system. Now they want to do the same thing in Africa, can you imagine what a risky successful venture it would be to pick a slick African cardinal, and make him Pope. Let him offer a few changes and he would suddenly have the one world religion in his pocket.

 

This is what he could do, talk about a vision he has had. He could tell the world that God had revealed to him that the church was to be a church of love for all mankind. God revealed to him that he has been trying to reach people in every land that Christ and Krishna were the same. Hindus would like that, they already assert that in some places, and the Pope has been willing to negotiate with these Eastern Religions about things. If he stood up and claimed Buddha to be an enlightened one, John Paul has already performed masses with a statue of Buddha on the altar. If he reached out and said God doesn't care anymore if you are celibate, heterosexual, homosexual, just as long as you come with your gifts in a loving relationship to God. The priests and nuns are no longer required to bear the burden of celibate, just can come and serve God. Do you know what a visionary this man would be held to be? Suddenly all of the oppositions would melt away. If the Pope said God is tired of you fighting over his body, if you wanted to believe it is a symbol that is fine, if you want to believe it is the living body that is fine all opposition too full ecumenical would fall by the way side.

 German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, 78, became the successor to Pope John Paul II. He is the former head of the Inquisition - Ratzinger for the past 23 years served as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the modern successor of the Inquisition.

St. Malachy called 111th Pope De gloria olivae. "Gloria Olivae," which means "the glory of the Olive." It is interesting that he takes for himself the name Pope Benedict XVI. Order of Saint Benedict, is also known as the Olivetans. The olive tree is also frequently a symbol for the Israelites in the Bible. Could it be that this Pope will aid the Antichrist in making peace with Israel? His age almost guarantees that he will not be the False Prophet of Revelation chapter 13.

This seems to me to be the way things should work out. Pope Benedict will aid the Antichrist in coming to power and making the treaty with Israel. He will continue to work closely with him until the middle of the seven years. It seems to me that this is the possible chain of events, when the Antichrist receives his deadly wound Benedict will also die. This will necessitate the picking of the final pope, 112th of Malachy Prophecy. This is the False Prophet. It is he who will be used in raising the Antichrist from the dead. He will also make the Antichrist a living God. A new world religion will be established, and it will be the open worship of Satan and the Antichrist.

Pope Benedict XVI has pledged himself to work for the unity of all Christianity. It goes without
saying he plans to be the head of that church.

 

These picture shows you how religions of the world are trying to unite the world’s religious systems into one. Faith unites in common goals has 160 delegates representing the 12 of the world’s religions, and of course there are some little other religions, you have the Dally Lama who is considered a god himself, Buddhists, African snake worshipers, Jews, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Bahia, Protestants and Christians. There were even Salvation army personnel there.

All of them uniting to pray for world peace, Do you know the scripture tells us that 2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. You can't pray with a Buddhist for peace, but this Pope and the Dalli Lama who is supposedly a god are praying together. No one should marvel that different religions find themselves gathered together for prayer, a rainbow of religions.

The world’s religious leaders will work together to promote world peace 160 participants representing 32 denominations from Christendom as well as American Indians, African Amists, Japanese Shintoism, Buddhist, Seiks, Janists and Bahia. The denominational adherence number 3.5 billion or 70% of the worlds population were represented in this meeting.

 

Midway Tribulation the African Pope, if he is African, will be gone. Who will be the next Pope (if there is one)? I think the next one will be a Jew. There are people in Rome that say the first Pope was named Peter and the last one will also have to be named Peter. I think he will be a Jew, because the devil wants a Jewish prophet. This time will be the turning point for the world to turn to the Antichrist. Did you know one of the other leading candidates for Pope is a Jewish Cardinal? He is so well known that the Jews will sometimes mention him in political cartoons. The comment has been made, "The Catholics want a Jew to be Catholic so bad they will give him a cardinal's hat." There is a man waiting to be the last Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. The false prophet could be just two heart beats away. Now we come up on this false religion, there won't be anything at all to stop people, there won't be a Bible, there won't be a traditional faith of any kind to protect them from being turned over to Antichrist worship and the Mark of the Beast.

The false prophet does "signs," he does "miracles," and "wonders," and he "calls fire down from heaven." One of the worlds leading televangelist seen on TBN said that fire will fall from heaven, probably this year. So when the fire falls the TBN’s false prophet has just told the people to understand that fire is coming from God. I think if the people are not careful they will allow that TV network to set them up for "a great deception". It has to make you wonder how people can fall into this stuff. I know you like to keep up on your TBN prophecy so I will share what I just heard this morning(1999), "Peace is breaking out in Israel, they are at peace with Egypt, they are at peace with the Jordanians, soon they will be at peace with the Palestinians, and just wait until Syria joins this peace process. That is going to cause billions of dollars to come flowing into Israel, and it is going to be a great time of prosperity. It will cause a disturbance in the spirit world and a wave of prosperity will flow through the church to get the gospel out to the entire world. It is only coming to those that are sowing their seed, and I would really hate for you to miss the great time of financial harvest. Because it is a time that the wealth of the wicked will be given to the righteous, and people will just give you their money because you are righteous and they are wicked." Does that sound anything remotely what the Bible says? No, there isn't going to be any peace until the Antichrist comes, and when the Jews cry peace and safety, sudden destruction will fall on them, there will not be a wave of prosperity, there will be a black horse riding that will bring absolute poverty on the earth. The man who said those things is a liar and a false prophet, and he has spoken contrary to the written word of God. The Bible says Ro 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

 

The false prophet makes a living image of the Antichrist. I think that Satan may well be inside this thing so he can interact with humanity. He will sit in the Temple of God as God. He will stop the sacrifices. It is the false prophet that demands that everybody receives a mark in their forehead or in their hand. No one can buy or sell anything without the mark. Now we know when the mark is coming. It is not coming with your next social security check. You can have all of the marks and chips that you want implanted on you or in you, but not be the Mark of the beast. It is no doubt the technology that the Antichrist will get a hold of and use.

The Antichrist heads the seventh empire and will builds the eighth empire. The beginning of his rein it is the revived Roman empire he rules, now upon his resurrection he declares himself to be the rightful ruler of the entire world. He demands that every man should worship him. He goes to war to put every king, kingdom, man, woman, boy and girl into his kingdom. The penalties are stiff if you do not go to your place of worship, bow down, get the number. Until you bow down in worship of the Antichrist you will not be awarded the number. You can't accidentally get it by using your ATM card. It doesn't happen that way. The Mark of the Beast is issued 3 ½ years after the Rapture.

 

Now it is required of all to worship the Antichrist. When you worship him, you become a citizen of his kingdom and then you get your mark. You will go to your churches, synagogues and your places of worship to get this mark. It is an act of worship. In old Babylon you couldn't separate religion from government, they were the same. In old Catholic countries they are the same, in Japan they are the same because, the leader is considered to be God. You don't separate them, so your citizenship and loyalties are going to be affirmed at church.

Here is an artist’s idea of what the mark of the beast might look like, they think an actual number and you notice the scripture said Re 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

 

 

The 666 gets you into Satan's system. The number breaks down to your area code and social security number, this is enough to identify where you are at, who you are as an individual. I don't believe you are going to have the number 666 branded on your hand, it might well be invisible to the eye. Some people think it is a tattoo, sort of like the people that produce the New King James Bible (NKJV), it said you will have a mark on your hand, whereas the King James Bible says Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: note that the scripture says "in their hand" and "in their forehead," not on. That is the problem with these new copyright written Bibles is that they take liberties which mess up the truth. The Mark is probably going to be a chip about the size of the grain of rice (Digital Angel). It will be inserted under your skin in your right hand or your forehead. It has its own power source that will charge itself from your body. A little chip that contains all the information about you needed, satellites will track you from overhead to see where you are at. It can download and upload and it knows all about you.

The government already uses them. There has been experimenting with pets. October 30th, 2000 in New York it was made available to the public pending FDA approval for implant, it is called the Digital Angel, with a whole slew of wonderful uses. Some people have them put on children, cars and so many satellites are being sent up to track this data. You will be able to find any man anywhere, no matter where he is at, no matter what condition he is under and you can find him. I heard a man talk about the Mark of the Beast and this little chip. He said something that was kind of unique. He said that the Lithium battery that is in the unit needs to recharge itself and they have found that there are only two places on the human body where it works. They are the right hand and forehead, isn't that interesting? He said I was against using the Lithium battery because if the unit ruptures it leaves a nasty sore on the body. And we will see later in our test in Re 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. When this vial is poured out everyone that has the Mark of the Beast gets a single grievous sore, not a bunch of sores. This sore will not heal and it makes them very sick.

When you get into the Mark of the Beast system, you will not be able to have a car, or a house or any position without it being tied to the information on this chip. I think when you receive your mark, you are going to have to take all the proof your assets and converted into data, you will have to pay your taxes with your mark. If you don't pay your property taxes, they will take your house. What happens when you don't get your tags for your car, they will shut you down. This thing will be your driver’s license, it will be your passport and you will be tracked as you travel country to country. You will have to be checked for the mark everywhere that you go to make sure that you have it. There will be a lot of people that will refuse the Mark. They will be beheaded. The people that resist do so because they know that once they receive this Mark, they have damned their soul. In Chapter 14 an Angel will fly overhead and warn all against taking the mark of the beast. There is no hope, for those that are damned to hell forever. The smoke of your torment will go up forever and ever. You will simply have to make a choice, is it a few years with the Antichrist, or is it eternal life. Can you imagine what is going to happen to you if you don't know Jesus as your savior?

This is a wax dummy, it could be your husband, or wife or your children, being beheaded just before you have your turn. They won't mind taking the whole family to watch. If this picture makes you squeamish, what do think is going to happen to you when you miss the Rapture, and you are trying not to take the Mark of the Beast? You are standing there while they are killing people. Don't think they won't do it, remember Rome and the Christians in the arena, remember the Reformation period and the 68 million killed for their faith? Do we not remember what Hitler did, mankind is capable of doing this kind of thing and they are going to do it? It is a terrible thing.

When this mark is being handed out the world just be beginning the last half of the Tribulation period. The Antichrist will now be organizing and nationalizing every asset that the world has.
