GOD HEALED MY HEART CONDITION

I had been attending church regularly, but was not a Christian.  In August 1966 I suffered a severe heart attack, but even this did not cause me to surrender my life to the Lord.

One night not long afterward I dreamed I went into eternity without God.  For nine months, until Mother's Day 1967, I was tormented with this dream.  On that day at church I prayed the sinner's prayer and was gloriously saved.  Ten months later I received the Holy Ghost baptism.

Yet I continued to be in and out of the hospital with heart trouble.  In 1969 it was as though disaster hit our home.  My oldest son had to have major surgery, then all three children had rheumatic fever.  My unsaved husband broke several ribs in a fall.  I needed a gallbladder operation, but first had to have a heart test to see if I could undergo the surgery.

I believe that somehow all of this was to bring my husband to the Lord, and the Lord assured me of my healing.  At last, during a prayer meeting in 1969, the Lord did save my husband.  He also healed my heart condition. 

Three weeks later I phoned my doctor, telling him I had been divinely healed and that the Lord had directed me to quit taking my heart pills.  The doctor said he would go along with me if I had the assurance that God had spoken to me.  I discontinued my heart medication.  Thank God, I was - and still am - HEALED!
