Daniel 11:1-2
(Dan 11:1-2 KJV)  Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him. {2} And now will I show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

Then we are told that a fourth king would rule who was "far richer than all the others. This king is Xerxes, also known as Ahasueras, the same Ahasueras that choses Esther as wife. "This king would "stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece." "In 480 b.c. the Persians under King Xerxes again attacked Greece. The invasion of Greece that ended in defeat at the Battle of Salamis in 480.

Daniel & the Angel
The Angel informs Daniel that he had stood with Darius and gave him strength. There were those who would have treated the Jews badly but God caused Darius to allow the Jews to return home.
The angel will inform Daniel what his people will face from that time until the time of the Antichrist.
